WHY ATTEND THE TESOL CONFERENCE 2007?

Travel
La Serena sits at the mouth of the Río Elqui, 11 km north of Coquimbo and 471 km north of Santiago. The city is very close to the RUTA 5 (the main highway that runs almost the length of Chile) and is approximately 5 hours by car from Santiago. It’s also easy to take a bus (www.turbus.com) or fly (www.lanchile.com).

We recommend you check on www.sernatur.cl for more information. Click on Servicios Turísticos from the options on the left side, then ‘transporte’.

Accommodation and Eating out
La Serena is the second oldest city in Chile, and with a beautiful coastline of sandy beaches, it is a popular destination for tourists. There is, therefore, a wide range of accommodation options, from hotels to hostels, as well as restaurants and bars.

Again, we recommend you check on www.sernatur.cl for further information. Click on Servicios Turísticos from the options on the left side and click on ‘donde dormir’ and ‘donde comer’.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!
